AV, pursuing the logic of a high quality service, makes use of the carriers DHL and UPS (from Monday to Friday).
These carriers do not deliver to PO boxes and require a signature upon delivery. The Customer is requested to visit the websites of the carriers for further explanations on the matter.
The arrival times of shipments are as follows:
– Italy Standard – excluding islands: 24/48 H
In compliance with the laws governing trade, all AV shipments are accompanied by an invoice or receipt declaring the value of the individual items in Euros. For items on sale, the invoice / receipt contains the discounted amounts.
AV delivers the products to the address communicated by the Customer in the “Order Form”.
Orders are shipped from AV from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00. Orders placed on Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday morning. For AVAILABLE ITEMS, shipment is immediate and is carried out on the first working day following the confirmation of the order by the Customer (subject to confirmation of the availability of the products and bank verification by PayPal for new customers).
In the period of offers, shipments may be subject to a longer time.
In all cases, AV reserves the right to delay the shipment in the event of force majeure.
Tracking of shipments
As soon as the order is shipped, the Customer receives an e-mail from AV on his mailbox with the specified traceability number (tracking) and a direct link to www.dhl.it or www.ups.it to monitor the status of the shipment.
If there is a delay in shipping (due to customs offices and / or other similar causes), the Customer will be notified directly by AV.
Delivery of the order
Upon arrival of the goods, the Customer is responsible for carefully checking the package before signing proof of delivery of the shipment. The box in which the Customer’s products are contained must not have been tampered with in any way. If this happens, the Customer is required to sign the receipt with reservation, or to refuse delivery. In any case, once the delivery document has been signed without having made a reservation, AV will not accept any objection regarding the products delivered.
The Customer who places an order establishes a business relationship with AV and therefore undertakes to collect his package. If delivery of the same is not possible for reasons dependent on the customer (wrong address, recipient always absent, incorrect telephone number, etc.), or if the customer refuses delivery (except for one of the cases set out above), the costs shipping and any customs charges will be deducted from the refund due to the Customer.
AV is also not responsible for any delays attributable to the courier or due to force majeure (strikes, transport difficulties, adverse weather events, etc.). In this case, the Customer will be promptly notified of the occurrence of one of these conditions.
